Saint Peter and Saint Paul Broterhood, where P. Beyerhaus is a member, is a seven sacrament order.
Just void talking and writing against racism is absolutely useless and pointless.
Sanctions, massive boycott in sports, products, etc., military measures, etc. did take down apartheid and it must to be used nowadays also.
That theologians and institutions was everytimes against every real action against apartheid, including documents signed by african theologians, economic sanctions against racist south africa; as they are today against every action in favor from suffering immigrants in neo-nazi germany from nowadays.
German speaking lutheran churches and private lutheran schools in namibia and south africa, are racially segregationists even now, and never has ceased to get subsidies from Evangelische Not Gemeinschaft and every other lutheran institution in germany.
Never they get critiques from german churches.
This wasn´t talkative parsons who end the racism.
Only governments can create difference, forcing by laws to racist german people,including to very extremely racist german evangelicals, to accept the natural right from foreigners to live, and work in Germany, to get wellfare subsidies,(a fair albeit only partial compensation to many atrocities caused by germans in history, as by examples savage and brutal colonialism and holocaust, invasion of poland, etc.); and last but no least to marry german women, no only german men-near no racist object when a white “macho” is married crossing the racial divide- and to adopt white german children and raise them free from racist german culture.
I pray Volker Beck triumph in take to the task, to people abusing Gospel in order to further a political agenda from far right wing as it is so usual in evangelical churches in Germany.
Micah Call and Millenium Development Goals, as by other part labor unions, worker’s right to strikes are permanently bashed by that german churchmen, you wrongly refers as heroes from social improvement.

That is a really long comment and would take half a book to answer all your questions. But let’s try.
In the evangelical world thousands of books from the American (and British) market are translated into all kind of languages. In many countries, even in Germany, a vast part of the evangelical books available are translations from the US. In the other side, the large US market only rarely translates books from German, French or Dutch, not speak about non-Western languages. The US market raely distributes Evangelical books in English originally published in Idia or Kenia. World Evangelical Alliance has started the Global Issues Series as a first test to counterbalance this, but from point of view it is 1. a financial quetsion and 2. a lot cultural bias, which prevent change.

But now to your objections:
* Beyerhaus in a high church Lutheran onyl in his old age (bot not a seven sacraments Lutheran, but believing in bishops). But for decades he was a leading represantative of the evangelical movement her. I hear for the first time, that he is against the Micah-Call – here in germany he never spoke against it.
* Black Cross in German ist “Schwarzes Kreuz”, the website is http://www.naechstenliebe-befreit.de/ I do not see an English website.
* Concerning Christlieb, the topic of my first dissertation: until 1870 Germany consisted of dozens of souvereign states, from large ones like Autsria and Prussia to small ones. “West-Germany” was the name given to the former Catholic part of Germany, which after Napoleon became Prussian. So when German historians speak of “West Germany”, they mean the area which today is mainly Northrhine-Westfalie and Rheinladn-Pfalz.
* The trade is called the “Indo-British opium trade”, because “Indo-Britain” was the name of India under the rule of the British. This bart of Britain traded the opium by force to China.
* I have not only written a book against communist views of folklore, but also on nazi views. I wrote several books on nacism, including the 900 pp. volume “Hitler’s Religion of War” – but sorry, in German only.
* I published against racists articles in the named journals. I still do it my blog on more recent examples. And in my book “racism” I speak against innerchucrh and outerchurch racism in Germany very clearly.
* The Spiegel Skandal? I was a baby by than. But I published a clear book on the freedom of press.
* Your last sentence mentions so many think at the same time that I do not get its real meaning. But I do not understand, how you can know what I condemn or not, as you do not seem to know my 100 books and many articles.
* I do fear what? Well, at least I know, that Germany is not a Christian country, but definitly needs a lot of people from the Global South preaching the gospel and getting people to believe in God, in sin, in forgiveness and living a holy life.

“Spiritual Double Track” was the name of a document by a group of evangelical pastors in Germany who stated that you cannot preach the gospel and at the same time favour stationing of ballistic missiles in Germany. It#s up to those psators why they used this name, I just report it.

OJC has a longstanding record fighting against racism in South Africa and worldwide since its inception in 1970. They invited black church leaders and politians over to Germany to report on South africa for decades. The published history of OJC proves this.

Beyerhaus spoke against racism at the famous Lausanne Conference 1974 and published a book against racism, which I still own. There is no prove that he ever had another position.

What both do and think on other topics was and is not the topic of my blog here.

How to name an Evangelistic crusade “Spiritual Double Track” mean to stand against NATO’s double-track resolution regarding the stationing medium range ballistic missiles in Germany?.
And how to‘Young Christians’ Offensive’ (Offensive Junger Christen, or OJC) were massively engaged against apartheid in South Africa in the 1970s , if them are only a group counseling against homosexuality?.

I`m an Evangelical from another land.
And conservative in sexual ethics.
My work in ministry is distributing free of charges books (braille, printed, audio) and Gospel tracts to poor people, including but no limited to blind people.
If Evangelicals in Germany publish that marvelous books you just mention:
Why your books are unavailable in other languages?.
You can help us to balance to USA Evangelical literature that is overwhelming extreme far rightist in economic and military politics, if you are interested in no european christians.
But I had these objections to your article:
You don´t signal Peter Beyerhaus stand against Micah’s Call, and him is a seven sacraments High Church Catho-Lutheran, difficult to see him as an evangelical.

Where I can find info on that German Evangelical Black Cross are you talking about?.
The only Black Cross I know is an anarchist group.
On your paragraph on West German Evangelical Allianz and Theodore Christlieb:
West Germany as a distinct country no existed during Opium Wars, this is a typo, no it is?.
Opium Trade was made by British Anglican Merchants, why you term it “so-called Indo-British”?.
Why you wrote a book criticizing communist misinterpretation from folklore, but you fail to produce a book against nazi misinterpretation from that same folklore?.
And on German Evangelicals:
I want to know why you German Evangelicals, fails to denonunce past collaboration from Lutheran and Catholic Churches with Stille Hilfe.
Why you never raised your voice against racists Deutschland in Not Evangelische Gemeinschaft and Christ und Welt Die Deutsche Zeitung?.
Where was you during Der Spiegel Skandal, that rude censorship under Franz Josef Strauss?.
Why you never condem excesses,disorders and abuses comitted by German aristocrats and nobility,as that price who is abusive with press,neighbors and large public;and/or unhuman gross mistreatment from workers by German Coroprations, in europe and even more in the rest of the world, you fear to rich people or think them are christians?.
